Marnie Cook

An essential of the Black Hills music scene since she returned in 2003, Marnie lyrically paints a picture of her relationship with the Northern Plains and the Missouri River, of longing and wanderlust. Catch an authentic live performance where you'll hear Marnie singing originals in her tender earthy voice.

She covers popular artists Adele and Brandi Carlile, Indie artists like R.E.M and the Indigo Girls, classic artists Bad Company, Bonnie Raitt, CSN, and country staples Suzi Boggus and Waylon Jennings and more, in her uncommon acoustic style. Her covers of deep vinyl cuts will keep you guessing. She recently got her hands on a vocal harmonizer, enriching her voice with vocal dimension. See her again weekly at Palmer Gulch resort Summer 2019.
